How I Work

My work is based on the bio-psycho-social-spiritual model, and I combine mindfulness interventions with self-inquiry, psycho-education, positive psychology and somatic psychotherapy. Weaved through all my work is a deep passion for exploring our potential for positive change through mindfulness and self-compassion.

The approach to my work comes from two decades of experience with mindfulness and personal development, with a background in holistic human development and a dedication to studying and practising mindfulness through both academic and spiritual channels.

In my practice, I bring my rich experience, life exploration and academic training to supporting individuals, couples, and families. I see my strengths in supporting anxiety, depression, trauma, existential crisis, masculine/feminine dynamics, anger management, trust, commitment and confidence.

I hold a certificate of Holistic Human Development (Coaching), a Bachelor’s Degree in Counselling and a Postgraduate Certificate of Applied Mindfulness and I am registered with PACFA the peak body for counsellors in Australia, PACFA Registration Number 26952.

Over the past 10 years in the Byron Shire, I have facilitated community meditations, men’s retreats, men’s circles, embodiment, couples and mindfulness workshops.

Having the opportunity to work with individuals, couples and alongside many other local organisations in the Northern Rivers has been a profound privilege.

I look forward to the opportunity to meet and work with you too.

May all beings be happy,
