How I Work
My work is rooted in the bio-psycho-social-spiritual model, integrating mindfulness, self-inquiry, psycho-education, positive psychology, and somatic psychotherapy. Through these frameworks, I foster positive change by nurturing mindfulness and self-compassion.
With over two decades of experience in mindfulness and personal development, I bring a unique blend of academic training and holistic, experiential practice. My background in holistic human development has been shaped through both scholarly and spiritual avenues, creating a comprehensive, grounded approach to growth and healing.
In my practice, I support individuals, couples, and families across areas such as anxiety, depression, trauma, existential crises, masculine/feminine dynamics, anger management, trust, commitment, and confidence. My credentials include a Certificate in Holistic Human Development (Coaching), a Bachelor’s Degree in Counselling, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Applied Mindfulness. I am registered with PACFA, the peak professional body for counsellors in Australia, with Clinical Registration Number 26952. This registration means my services can be accessed with Private Health Fund Rebates.
Over the past decade in the Byron Shire, I have facilitated community meditations, men’s retreats, men’s circles, training and workshops on men’s work, embodiment, couples work, and mindfulness. Working with individuals, couples, and various local organisations across the Northern Rivers has been a deep privilege and inspiration.
I look forward to meeting and working with you. For a closer look at my approach and philosophy, visit my blog, which features videos, audio content, and articles exploring the various aspects of embodying meaningful success.
May all beings be happy.

Each session is tailored to your needs and the type of work we're doing — whether it's coaching, counselling, or couples therapy. We typically begin with a somatic check-in and clarify your intention or goal for the session. From there, depending on what’s present, we may explore a range of approaches including talk therapy, mindfulness practices, meditation, somatic processing, self-inquiry, internal parts work, self-compassion, breath-work, shaking OR embodied emotional release.
I also draw on evidence-based frameworks from neurobiology, psycho-education, and trauma-informed practice to support deeper understanding and integration. Sessions often close with grounding, reflection on key takeaways, and identifying practical steps you can take between sessions to continue the work in daily life.
